Kenyan Govt Closes All Schools Over Teachers' Strike

The education ministry says only Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examination candidates should remain in school.

Students from Kapsabet Girls Secondary School in Nandi County spotted in Eldoret Town on September 16, 2015, on their way home. With the teachers' strike showing no sign of ending, the government has ordered that all public and private schools be closed starting September 21, 2015.
