Facebook Satellite Initiative Aims to Get More Africans Online

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said that the social media giant will partner with Eutelsat on a project that will provide Internet coverage to large parts of Sub-Saharan Africa.

Zuckerberg has said that the AMOS-6 satellite will launch in 2016 into a geostationary orbit that will cover large parts of West, East and Southern Africa.
