This year’s finish line was at the Eternal Love Winning Africa (ELWA) ministerial compound, right next to the only operational Ebola treatment unit (ETU) in Monrovia. Although Liberia is currently free of Ebola, the ETU remains open as a precaution. On Sunday, health workers dressed in scrubs watched as runners crossed the finish line.
