Beninoise Singer Angelique Kidjo Wins Third Grammy Award
The iconic singer and activist has won the Grammy for Best World Music Album for her Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg collaboration, Sings. Kidjo was up against South African choral group legends Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Malawi's Zomba Prison Project, Brazilian legend Gilberto Gil and Indian sitarist Anoushka Shankar.
