UN Accuses South Sudan of Gruesome Atrocities
In the third such report in a week, South Sudanese forces have been accused of atrocities, including gang rape, burning people alive and cutting them to pieces. The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights says in a press release that the scale of sexual violence is particularly shocking. The UN report follows similar reports by the rights groups Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.
