Have Zimbabwean Homosexuals Given Up?

Gays and Lesbians of Zimbabwe, an activist group, has reportedly given up their push for same sex marriages in the country, saying "it is near impossible to convince a highly conservative society and its rulers to accept the practice". President Robert Mugabe has blamed gays for many of Zimbabwe's problems and views homosexuality as an "un-African" and immoral culture brought by colonists.
