'Africa Day' at #COP22

At Africa Day, the day when the continent is in the spotlight at the COP22 meetings underway in Marrakech, African leaders called for speedy action for the implementation of the commitments made at the COP21 in Paris. "This is clearly becoming a COP of action. Africa takes centre stage at COP22 - The Africa Pavilion is in full swing in this second week of COP22 in Marrakech, Morocco. The highlight of this week is Africa Day, celebrated on November 16, 2016, in the presence of several Heads of States and personalities, and AfDB President Akinwumi Adesina. The continent presented a united front on the need to implement the pledges made in Paris.
