Can African Agriculture Sustain an Agro-Allied Industry?
A paper presented at the just concluded 11th African Economic Conference held in Abuja, Nigeria, asked the question: is African agriculture was sustainable enough to support an agro-allied industrial development strategy? The paper argues that without sustainable approaches, there are doubts that the ability of African agriculture in its present state can support a vibrant and sustainable agro-industry. Read more.
