'Drought, Climate Change to Worsen South African Wildfires'

A longer, more intense fire season can be expected due to climate change, government spokesperson Anton Bredell has said. This season's wildfires caused R60 million in damages, destroyed several historical buildings and prompted evacuations of residents.
