Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma's successor will be elected at the 28th African Union Summit, taking place in Addis Ababa. The Institute for Security Studies' PSC Report asked the candidates how they plan to steer the continental organisation.

The candidates for the position of Chair of the African Union Commission: Kenya's Amina Mohamed, Botswana's Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi, Agapito Mba Mokuy of Equatorial Guinea and Abdoulaye Bathily of Senegal.
