No Money for Sanitary Pads to Honour Museveni's Pledge in Uganda
In the fight for re-election during 2016 election campaign, the president famously pledged to stop school girls' serious absenteeism problem and poor performance in schools by providing them with free sanitary pads. However, the education minister, Janet Museveni has said the government doesn't have money for that.
