NGOs Testify to Progress Made Fighting Sexual Violence in the DRC
After two decades as a breeding ground for sexual violence, Congo DRC is today on its way to becoming a reference in efforts to combat this dehumanising practice. Mrs. Zainab Hawa Bangura, Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations on Sexual Violence and Conflict, welcomed this achievement during her stay in Kinshasa in October 2016.
