Message from the ECA on International Women's Day

On 8th of March when the world celebrates International Women's Day, "our collective attention is drawn to the situation of women in the world of work, in order not only to just understand it, but also and more importantly, to take action," said Abdalla Hamdok, the Acting Executive Secretary United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), in a message celebrating International Women's Day and in support of the "Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step It Up for Gender Equality".
