South African Drought - Cape Declared Disaster Area

The Western Cape's Provincial Disaster Management Centre will lead Project "Avoiding Day Zero" to manage dwindling water supplies as the province faces its most severe drought since 1904.


The Berg River is so dry in places that you can walk across it.
