New Nairobi-Mombasa Railway Line 'Faster Than Going By Road'

The standard gauge railway service that President Uhuru Kenyatta is to launch at the end of May has the capacity to carry 1,200 passengers per trip, Kenya Railways says. Managing Director Atanas Maina says initially only one train daily will operate between Mombasa and Nairobi.
