Indigenous Group Ogiek Wants Kenyan Govt to Honour Court Ruling

After an eight-year legal battle, the Arusha-based African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights ruled that the Kenyan government had violated the rights and freedoms of the Ogiek by driving them out of their ancestral lands.
