The South African Law Reform Commission's long-awaited report on adult sex work has been released - findings indicate that sex work in South Africa is driven by a complex interplay of social and economic drivers that include poverty, inequality and unemployment.

Sex workers have been demanding that their trade be decriminalised, but the South African Law Reform Commission has nixed the idea.
