President Robert Mugabe has fired Prosecutor-General Johannes Tomana following his suspension in March last year on allegations of incompetence and misconduct. In February 2016, Tomana was charged with obstructing the course of justice after he dropped charges against the two army officers accused of attempting to blow up a dairy belonging to Mugabe's family.
Johannes Tomana has been charged with criminal abuse of duty after he allegedly ordered the release of two men suspected of trying to bomb President Robert Mugabe's farm. Read more »
