2040 UK Car Ban May Impact Nigeria's Oil Exports
Britain is to ban all new petrol and diesel cars and vans from 2040 amid fears that rising levels of nitrogen oxide pose a major risk to public health. This move will have an impact on oil-producing countries like Nigeria where just in the first quarter of 2017, 2 million barrels of oil were imported by the UK and since May 2016, over 31 million barrels had been shipped to the UK.
