Union Ready to Fight Retrenchments at South African Gold Mine

Kolekile Sipunzi, the National Union of Mineworkers general secretary, has said that the union will "fight tooth and nail with the necessary vigour" following the announcement that mining house Sibanye Gold is considering retrenching thousands of miners.
