The family of Dullah Omar, the nation's first minister of justice following democratic elections in 1994, has requested the immediate removal of the struggle stalwart's name from the ANC Cape Town Metro Region in the Western Cape, saying his "integrity, honesty and humility contrasts sharply with the behaviour and actions in recent years of many ANC leaders and members, up to and including President Jacob Zuma".
