Ugandan Govt Deploys Troops to Amuru After Land Protests

The government has deployed soldiers and police to the Amuru district, where there is a dispute over 10,000 hectares of land. Residents are protesting against government efforts to acquire the land for a sugar factory, with some stripping naked to deter a minister and officials who wanted to survey the area.
