Baby Injured During Kenyan Police Crackdown on Riots Dies

The six-month-old girl, who had slipped into a coma after allegedly being hit by a police officer in Kisumu County during action against post-election rioters, has died. "I demand justice for my daughter. She was not protesting, her father was not protesting. Her mother was not protesting. Yet they killed her," her father, Mr Joseph Abanja told the Nation.
