Hate Speech - Kenya Targets WhatsApp Administrators
The government has published guidelines aimed at preventing the dissemination of undesirable political messages and social media content. According to the guidelines, WhatsApp group administrators are responsible for content disseminated through their groups and are criminally liable for any harm that results, according to Mercy Muendo for The Conversation.
