Tanzanian Minister Resigns as Damning Mining Reports Released

Minister of State in the President's Office George Simbachawene has resigned, as has deputy minister for Works, Transport and Communications  Edwin Ngonyani. Their resignations came just hours after President John Magufuli received reports from two committees which investigated tanzanite and diamond mining.
