South African Rail Company to Retrench 8000 Workers?

The South African Transport and Allied Workers' Union has slammed reports that state-owned Transnet intends to retrench 8000 workers while the Congress of South African Trade Unions described the allegations as "a mockery of the ANC government's commitment to job creation".
