Former Air Tanzania Boss Fined U.S.$15,000 for Abuse of Office

A court has ordered former Air Tanzania Company managing director David Mattaka and others to pay a U.S.$15,000) fine each or serve six years in jail. Mattaka and his fellows were charged with abuse of office for failure to properly keep company records and for the purchase of old motor vehicles at a cost of about U.S$446,000.
