Is Kenya Headed for an Arab Spring?

In a nationally televised statement ahead of the October 26 election, President Uhuru Kenyatta called on Kenyans to pray for all leaders across the political divide, that they "may be granted wisdom and humility, and that they may love peace and justice", as reports of police brutality against opposition protestors continue. And now that the National Super Alliance led by Raila Odinga has announced they will have daily protests until the embattled electoral body meets their demands, the fact is we should expect more confrontation with police, and if police uses much force, diplomats, especially from Western countries, will condemn the government, writes Allawi Ssemanda for The Observer.
