Workers at South African Broadcaster Go on Strike

Communications Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane has urged workers at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) who embarked on strike action to avoid disrupting the day-to-day activities at the national broadcaster, adding: "The SABC has a public mandate to provide citizens with information regarding various issues in society."
