Nigerian Senate Summons Oil Bosses Over Fuel Scarcity

The Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources has summoned the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, and Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Maikanti Baru, over the ongoing fuel crisis. They are expected to appear before the senate on January 4 for a "crucial meeting" with the committee to discuss the way forward.
