South African Universities at Risk of Registration 'Chaos'?
Opposition parties the Democratic Alliance and the Inkatha Freedom Party have called on government to provide leadership on its stance of free higher education amid fears that chaos would break out once universities open for registration, writes News24. This comes after Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema encouraged matriculants who passed in previous years but couldn't afford university fees to report to academic institutions for registration.
