Egyptian Mohamed Salah Crowned African Player of the Year

Egypt and Liverpool striker Mohammed Salah has been named the 2017 Confederation of African Football's player of the year at the Aiteo CAF Awards in Accra in Ghana. Salah fended off opposition from his Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane of Senegal and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon and Borussia Dortmund.
