Presidency Speaks On Benue Killings, Says Buhari Not to Blame

The presidency has spoken of efforts by President Muhammadu Buhari to end incessant killings in Benue and its neighbouring states, saying it is both unfair and unkind for anyone to keep insinuating that the president is condoning the attacks. At least 83 people have been killed in the communal violence since December 31. Buhari ordered the police chief to move to Benue, to restore law and order, prevent further loss of lives and forestall the crisis there from escalating.
