One Man Utd Player's Salary Enough to Run Kenyan Sport?

Like many other sectors of the African economies, the business of sport is riddled with financial struggles, with life for the vast majority of the continent's footballers being a far cry from the glitz and glamour of those lucky enough to play in the world's top leagues. Alexis Sanchez has become the English Premier League's highest paid player after his switch to Manchester United, earning over U.S.$850,000 a week, reportedly enough to fund the whole of Kenya's sport.
