Nigeria Govt Puts Cargo Shipping Policy On Hold

Over U.S.$60 million is what the economy could lose annually if the new palletisation law comes into effect. The palletisation act states that all cargo in containers needs to be placed on pallets during shipping. Its aim is to make manual checking of cargo consignments easier, while authorities await the installation of scanners at seaports and land borders.
