Nigeria Frees 475 Boko Haram Suspects for Lack of Evidence

The freed suspects will undergo rehabilitation before seeing their families. At least 1,669 people have been processed in a string of mass hearings that began in October 2017. Nigeria was widely criticised for holding people for years without trial.
