Controversial Film Scoops 5 Awards at South African Film Awards
The controversial film Inxeba - The Wound took five gold horns for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Film, Best Editing, Best Actor (Toure Nakhane) and Best Supporting Actor (Bongile Mantsai) at the South African Film and Television Awards. The theme for the annual awards this year was 'Our Stories Are Gold' in honour of "those who have captured our hearts, minds and imaginations through the telling of our unique stories."
