Why Has South Africa Banned Cellphones at Zimbabwe Border?

South Africa has banned the use of cellphones by travellers within the immigration halls, a move seen as a reaction to the leaking of a video of an immigration officer caught on camera playing with her smartphone while working. Cross-border traders say the ban is meant to stop them from collecting evidence against incompetent officials.
