Botswana to Strengthen Ties with Southern African Countries

President Mokgweetsi Masisi has embarked on his regional tour and his first stop was Namibia, where he meet with Namibian President Hage Geingob and later with Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Masisi will also visit Angola, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa and Zambia in an effort to strengthen ties with the SADC member states. This is Masisi's first international visit as president, following his inauguration on April 1.
