Four Years On, Some Chibok Girls Are Still In Captivity

The abduction of the 276 girls by Boko Haram on April 14 in 2014 sparked a global outcry. The girls were sleeping at their school, awaiting exams, when they were taken. Although dozens have been released and 57 managed to escape, there are at least 100 girls still being held captive by the militants.
