Mandela Letters as Good as Gold for South Africa's Ramaphosa?
"That's our gold," South African Twitter users commented when images of President Cyril Ramaphosa meeting with Queen Elizabeth II in a luxurious room circulated. The 91-year-old monarch gave Ramaphosa two letters written to her by Nelson Mandela.
Ramaphosa is in the UK on a working visit to London to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
"She was reminiscing about her relationship with Nelson Mandela, particularly on the year when we celebrate 100 years of his birth," Ramaphosa said after the visit.
