Nigerian Police Try Helicopter for Senator Who Jumped from Car

The embattled senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, might be flown to Lokoja in a police helicopter after an attempt to transport the lawmaker by road failed last week. Melaye is set to face trial for an alleged illegal firearms possession and arming of political thugs.
