Angola President in Namibia for Cassinga Massacre Anniversary

The President of the Republic of Angola is in Windhoek to take part in the 40th anniversary ceremony of the Cassinga Massacre. The massacre is the result of an attack by the South African army against a refugee camp on 4 May 1978.

The President of the Republic of Angola, João Lourenço, landed on Thursday afternoon in the Namibian capital of Windhoek to participate in the 40th-anniversary ceremonies of the Cassinga Massacre to be marked on Friday.
