Keeping Tanzania University Doors Open for Political Debate

An opposition party, ACT Wazalendo has asked the government not to ban political activities in universities, saying higher learning institutions are the center of change in society. This comes after President John Magufuli asked students to concentrate in their studies and abandon politics, during his speech at the Sokoine University of Agriculture.
