Kenyan Governors Escape Watery End as Bridge Collapses

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi fell into the water but were rescued by their aides, unhurt, when a bridge they were standing on collapsed. The construction of the bridge at Nyabisiongororo village was paid for by the local constituency development fund and had a welded steel sheet floor.
