The 2018 Annual Meetings of the African Development Bank Group will be held from May 21-25 in Busan, Korea. The theme of this year's meetings will be - Accelerating Africa's Industrialization. Last year the Bank released its flagship Industrialize Africa: Strategies, Policies, Institutions, and Financing report in which the Bank's president Akinwumi Adesina made clear that "Africa must quit being at the bottom of the global value chains and move rapidly to industrialize, with value addition to everything that it produces."
