South Africa's National Assembly Passes Minimum Wage Bill

The National Minimum Wage Bill submitted to the National Assembly was a historic achievement, Labour Minister Mildred Oliphant said on Tuesday. Fin24 reports that Oliphant presented three bills to the assembly: the National Minimum Wage Bill, the Basic Conditions of Employment Amendment Bill and the Labour Relations Amendment Bill. All three bills were passed and will be sent to the National Council of Provinces.
