Nigeria Ruling Party's Oyegun Withdraws Re-Election Bid

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, has said his decision not stand for re-election was not taken out of fear or intimidation. He said the party could have avoided its leadership crisis if the option of extending the tenure of party executives was taken.
