Nigerian State Oil Firm Denies Owing Millions to Rivers Community
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has denied owing the Alesa-Eleme community in Rivers State U.S.$99,7 million. The money is apparently owed to the community because it plays host to the Port Harcourt Refining Company, a subsidiary of the corporation.
