Family Can Appeal Parts of Ruling on Son's Pit Toilet Death

South African High Court Judge Gerrit Muller has granted the Komape family leave to appeal parts of his judgment relating to the U.S.$156,000 claim for grief the family suffered after their five-year-old son Michael Komape died when he fell into a pit toilet in Limpopo in January 2014.

James and Rosina Komape remember clearly the day their son Michael drowned in a toilet at his school (file photo).
